Convex Capital originated, led, structured and completed the sale of Digital ID Group Ltd to US-based BarcodesInc, a leading distributor of automatic identification capture products backed by Cortec Group.
Digital ID is the UK’s No.1 provider of ID system products, combining a highly compelling end-user offering with a pioneering business-to-business platform. The Company is based in Stockport, Greater Manchester and generates Revenues of c.£22m.
Convex Capital structured a deal which gave the shareholders 80% of their consideration on completion. Shareholders Jonathan Fell and Stephen Dodd will remain with the Business following the deal and continue to drive growth as part of the Barcodes group.
