Convex Capital exclusively managed, structured and completed the sale of Brian James Trailers Ltd to Swedish Conglomerate Lifco AB, who will consolidate the Brian James Trailers operation within their Business Area Systems Solutions, division Service and Distribution.
Established in 1979, Brian James Trailers are market leaders in the niche manufacture of a diverse range of car transporter trailers and commercial trailers. The company is based in Daventry and has in excess of 150 employees.
In 2018, the business reported net sales of c. £26m.
The Convex deal team was led by Mike Driver, Nathalie Hodgkinson and Isaac Asamoah whilst James Edge and Warren Meggitt originated the transaction and identified Lifco as the strategic purchaser.
