Convex has acted as the exclusive sell-side M&A advisor on the sale of 4×4 Accessories & Tyres Ltd, Europe’s leading distributor of 4×4 pickup truck accessories, tyres, and custom parts, to Röko AB, a Swedish-based investment group.
Founded in 1993 by Tim Snowden, 4x4AT are the UK’s largest pickup truck customiser of hardtop canopies, tonneau covers, bed liners and styling. Headquartered in Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire, they are the premier 4×4 superstore with 8 purpose-built warehouses of over 125,000sq ft and 50 staff members dedicated to all aspects and tiers of 4×4 accessory supply, fitting, sales, and service. Customers can select 4×4 accessories and products for rapid delivery and DIY fitting or can have chosen accessories installed in one of several dedicated fitting bays across the UK.
4x4AT are the sole UK importers for pickup hardtops and accessory brands such as Aeroklas, Alpha, Mountain Top, Roll ‘N’ Lock, and Predator. They also market their own commercial hardtops under their registered Pro//Top brand which are made for them under licence. The company has approval with some of the leading vehicle manufacturers in the world including Ford, Isuzu, and Nissan.
